About Keepsafe Microclimate Systems
Keepsafe Microclimate Systems is a division of Object & Textile Conservation Services Inc.
Keepsafe Systems was founded in 1990 by Jerry Shiner to market and distribute supplies for oxygen-free storage and treatment of museum artefacts. Initial offerings included barrier films, Ageless oxygen absorbers, and the advice and expertise needed to properly use these novel materials.
In 1999 Keepsafe Systems began to market active microclimate control machines for Micro Climate Technology Inc. Our success was immediate, and in 2003 Mr. Shiner became a founding partner in Microclimate Technologies International Inc (MTII), carrying on the development of new microclimate devices. Mr. Shiner was MTII's Director of Sales & Marketing, and was responsible for the development and installation of many active microclimate control systems.
In 2008 Mr. Shiner resigned as a director of MTII to concentrate on consulting on the design, procurement and installation of microclimate systems. We continue to supply state-of-the-art products and solutions to the museum community as Keepsafe Microclimate Systems.
