GENERAL OPERATING PRINCIPLES
Ambient gallery air is filtered for pollutants and drawn into the unit. This air is pressurized and directed through a proprietary mechanism that adjusts the relative humidity to the preset value. This air is directed through a small flexible tube to an input port in the showcase. Air flow to the enclosure is constant, and in normal applications the air is delivered only at the preset relative humidity.
In normal configurations the unit provides humidity control for a single tightly sealed enclosure, usually not exceeding five cubic meters. In these applications the unit will typically provide extremely accurate humidity control; the unit neither adds nor subtracts moisture from the air in the showcase ? it gently feeds a steady stream of air into the showcase at the target humidity to displace the existing air and pollutants in the enclosure, which is forced out past gaskets and through small existing leaks.
ALTERNATIVE OPERATING MODES
The Mini One can be operated in a variety of modes, depending on enclosure characteristics and acceptable control limits. Output from one unit may be distributed to more than one showcase, or multiple units may be used on a single showcase when more capacity is needed. The unit may be placed immediately beneath or next to the showcase, or at some distance away. The pump module may be separated from the main module at some distance, or multiple units may be fed by a single remote pump or nitrogen generator.
INPUT PORT VALVE / SENSOR
Input air from the humidification module is monitored at the input port valve/sensor in the showcase. An integrated automatic valve ensures that the showcase air feed is stopped should the humidity exceed preset limits. The combination of sensor and valve makes troubleshooting easy in new installations.
INSTALLATION SUPPORT
Sales and installation of the Mini One are fully supported by Keepsafe Microclimate Systems, with years of experience in planning, guiding and assisting in remote system installations and troubleshooting.
